America's Natural Gas Highway
Monday 6/23       4:05 – 5:20 p.m.

More than 3 million rigs consuming 25 billion gallons of diesel navigate the 160,000 miles of American highways each year. With rising fuel costs, coupled by new EPA regulations on truck engine emissions, the make-up of the U.S. carrier fleet could change radically in the future. For the U.S. trucker, the future is today. Nationwide, an increasing percentage of trucks powered by cleaner, cheaper, domestic natural gas are becoming a bigger part of the supply chain. In the long run, estimates are that total LNG demand for fleets and long-haul trucks could equal up to 20% of today's natural gas consumption by 2030. Join the authorities on LNG fleet as we explore "America's Natural Gas Highway".
